Actress: Noriko Kobatake

Kobatake was born in Hiroshima, and has been an actress for 14 years. She has appeared in such films as “Ohoku”, “The Tale of Genji, A Thousand Years of Mystery”, and such dramas as “Ohoku, The First Chapter”, “Mito Komon”, “Kasouken no Onna (Female Forensic Investigator)” and “Kyoto Chiken no Onna (Female Kyoto Prosecutor).”

How she became an actress: She liked film and the stage.
Favorite film, drama: Toei`s old historical dramas for example “Sanbiki ga Kiru! (Three for the Kill!) starring Misora Hibari.
Favorite actors and actresses: Misora Hibari, Kotaro Satomi, Ken Matsudaira and Hideki Takahashi.
The most memorable scene: Death scenes, bowing scene in Mito Komon, and appearing on the Japanese variety program “Nihon Teppan Isan.”
